Short bio

Phuong Nguyen is a doctoral researcher in the SNSF Project Aspiration for Change 4.0: The Making of Innovation in Viet Nam, led by Prof. Dr. Annuska Derks. Phuong graduated with First Class Honours from the Master of Development Studies at The University of Melbourne (Australia), and with Distinction from Bachelor of Business in Economics and Finance at RMIT University Vietnam. In the current PhD project, Phuong is investigating the changes in the Vietnamese society coming with the introduction of the digital-based sharing economy and other technologies in the national market, its social implications and the response from government, private sectors and activists in the country.
