Riwen A is a doctoral researcher in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Zurich. Her research focuses on ethnicity, boundary-making, and everyday negotiations of identity and belonging among young urban Mongols in Inner Mongolia. Before joining the University of Zurich, she completed an MA in Social Anthropology at the University of Manchester. Her previous research explored inter-ethnic interaction and regional belonging in urban Inner Mongolia through everyday food practices.
