In ‘Minor 30’, you will focus on anthropological theories and the research foci at ISEK - Social and Cultural Anthropology (Transformation and Development; Material Culture and Museum; Ethics, Religion, Knowledge).
You will find an overview of the modules that are part of the programme ‘Minor 30’ in the list below.
The programme can be completed in four semesters. It is consecutive, i.e. a Bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology is required for admission. Admission without conditions is granted to students with a Bachelor's degree in the major programme Social Anthropology or in the minor programme Social Anthropology of the University of Zurich. In the case of other degrees, the University examines whether or which additional requirements have to be fulfilled (see link to study regulations below).
Students who started studying Social Anthropologyy before autumn semester 2019 have been transferred to the successor programmes. Special regulations apply to them, see "Bologna 2020: Information on the transition".

As of autumn semester 2019, a new study order ("Bologna 2020") came into force at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Students who started studying Social Anthropology before autumn semester 2019 were transferred to successor programmes. Special transition regulations have been drawn up so that all previously acquired achievements can be credited during the transition. In the following cases, you will continue your studies according to the transition regulations:
