Short bio

Dr. Rajat Roy is a Swiss Government Excellence (ESKAS) postdoctoral fellow (2023–4) at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology, University of Zurich, and is working with the chair of Prof. Johannes Quack. Before joining the department, Rajat completed his doctoral studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, on anti-caste literature in West Bengal, India. He is a tenured assistant professor of political science at Presidency University, Kolkata. His postdoctoral research is centred on the politics of Dalit literature in India.
