Short bio

Tanja Luchsinger joined the chair of Prof. Dr. Johannes Quack in 2019 on an assistant post. She did her bachelor's as well as her master's in social and cultural anthropology at the University of Zürich. As part of her studies she spent time in Delhi, where she did fieldwork for her Master’s thesis. Her thesis examines marriage pressure and marriage decision-making through an ethical lens focusing on the ethical conflicts young unmarried women are facing in the Indian society.
