After completing a first BA in English and French Literature in Paris, Tara Bate completed a BA in political science and an MA in gender studies respectively at la Sorbonne Paris I and Vincennes-Saint-Denis Paris VIII. She then graduated from the Graduate Institute in Geneva in Development Studies in 2015.
Her research topics until now have dealt with pastoralism in the French Alps, gender issues in that context, and gender training approaches in the development sector in India.
