Clémence Jullien defended her PhD thesis in Anthropology entitled « From the Slum to Hospital: Anthropology of Reproductive Health in Rajasthan (India) » in Paris in December 2016.
Her thesis, undertaken at Paris Nanterre University, has recently been awarded with two prizes: the « Prix de la chancellerie de Paris » and the « Prix d’Anthropologie Médicale d’Anthropologie au Développement et à la Santé (AMADES)»
The prestigious « Prix de la chancellerie de Paris » rewards the 50 best PhD theses from all disciplines (law, political sciences, economical sciences, medicine, humanities, social sciences, and pharmacy) undertaken in one of the 23 higher educational institutions of Greater Paris (Ile de France). The picture below was taken at the ceremony which took place in the large auditorium of the Sorbonne in Paris on December 5th, 2017.

The « Prix d’Anthropologie Médicale d’Anthropologie au Développement et à la Santé (AMADES)» rewards French’s best PhD thesis of social sciences (anthropology, sociology, history, and political sciences) on health.
